The Stelios Philanthropic Foundation and the Gustavia Yacht Club have made a donation of $14,000 USD towards the Platinum Package of the Primary School Sailing Program of the Sint Maarten Yacht Club. The Foundation and the Gustavia Yacht Club’s commitment as sponsors will enable 12 local
children of Sint Maarten to partake in the sailing program for one school
year.
A ceremony was held at the Gustavia Yacht Club to celebrate the partnership with our neighbouring club. The event was attended by Frits Bus, Commodore of the Sint Maarten Yacht Club. There was an exchange of flags to commemorate the new partnership which begins on 1st January 2023. The Sint Maarten Yacht Club kindly gifted our club with a beautiful painting by a local artist.
