Friday, 19 December 2025 dinner with Guest Speaker: Capitaine Jonathan Quinchon

We are delighted that the recently appointed head of the Gendarmerie of Saint-Barthélemy Capitaine Quinchon has agreed to say a few words to our members about policing on our island and take questions.

Babson College Alumni Reception Tuesday, 30 December 2025

We are delighted to confirm that the Gustavia Yacht Club will host a special Babson College (www.babson.edu ) Alumni Reception for those present on our island on Tuesday, 30 December 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This event is being organised in coordination by Babson College and its alumni office and our esteemed members the Foregger family.

We have agreed with Babson college that 10 GYC Members are welcome to attend the evening , subject to reservation on a first come first served basis .

Charity dinner Saturday, 17 January 2026 in support of the lifeboat institution in France SNSM

Following the successful SNSM evening held on 12 February 2025, we are pleased to announce that the Gustavia Yacht Club will once again host a special event in support of the Société Nationale de Sauvetage en Mer (SNSM) on Saturday, 17 January 2026, starting at 6:00 PM.

For this upcoming 2026 event, we are pleased to confirm further to a message from Mrs. Elise Magras, General Secretary of the Saint-Barthélemy SNSM Station that the Captain of the vessel Capitaine Danet will attend on behalf of the station. Additional event details will be provided as arrangements are finalised.

Tuesday 17 February 2026 (Mardi Gras) , at the Club House from 2pm till 8pm with food and drink to watch the parade which marches outside our club house.

There will be no additional charge for members of Gustavia Yacht Club and their guests for attending Gustavia Clubhouse on 17 February 2026!

A suggested donation of 40 euros per person for each of the above events (apart from Mardi Gras) applies payable by bank transfer in advance

Club House Update

The Club House is now officially open Monday to Saturday, 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with our open bar and snacks available every night, alongside a regular programme of events.

Our new bartender, Ana Hegedus (ana.hegedus@gustaviayachtclub.org), will be welcoming you to the Club House!

St Barth Yacht Club Sponsorship Acknowledgment (Sponsorship provided by Stelios Philanthropic Foundation)

We are pleased to share that the sailors of Saint-Barth Yacht Club have recently participated in several prestigious sailing events, made possible thanks to the generous support of Stelios Philanthropic Foundation.

With this sponsorship, the young sailors achieved remarkable results:

• Louisa Vanden Eynde, st barth yacht clubs youngest sailor, secured 2nd place at the Soons Regatta in Sint Maarten.
• The team competed in the Opti Cup in Cap d’Agde, France, over a two-week period, delivering outstanding performances.
• They also took part in the Friar’s Bay Regatta and prepared for the Budget Marine Regatta in Sint Maarten, followed by a week-long sailing clinic in Saint Barth starting 26th December.
