Events at the club
I am delighted to announce that last Saturday 4th of January 2020 we had a very well attended lecture and dinner at the Clubhouse ( Standing room only) by world famous explorer and adventurer Alvaro de Marichalar who is doing a circumnavigation of the globe on his jet ski. During the event we bestowed to Alvaro our Honorary Membership of our Club which he accepted with thanks. You can track Alvaro’s position here: https://my.yb.tl/NUMANCIA
Brought forward : Monday 13th of January 2020 at 630pm Italian night at the Clubhouse. Our very own Italian member Pierangelo Tondina ( p.tondina@tweb.it ) will supervise the menu!
New events in parternship with our local music festival : http://www.stbartsmusicfestival.org/ . We have a small allocation of free tickets for these three nights. Ask the Commodore for one during the Italian night:
17th jan 8pm opera night at the catholic church in Lorient
18th cinema maria by callas at 7pm at AJOE
19th the jazz performance at 5pm at the Anglican church in Gustavia
Tuesday 28th of January 2020 at 630pm Argentinian night at the Clubhouse. Our Secretary General Gustavo Riccobon ( gus@bonibarth.com) will be doing the BBQ on the dock for us!
Sunday 3rd of February , 2020 at 6pm the American Superbowl will be shown at the Clubhouse with the usual American food!
Tuesday 18th of February 2020 special lecture at the Clubhouse by the CEO of the jst.org.uk
Wednesday 19th of February , 2020 celebrations to mark the arrival in the port of Gustavia of the tall ship Tenacious of the Jubilee Sailing Trust
