Honorary GYC Membership bestowed to H.R.H. Charles de Bourbon des Deux Siciles – Friday 27th September 2019 at the Stelios Foundation Hall Monaco
Tonight, a special celebration will take place to bestow the Gustavia Yacht Club’s first Honorary Membership to HRH Charles de Bourbon des Deux Siciles.
The presentation will take place in the Stelios Foundation Hall, 14 Quai Antoine Ier, Port Hercules, Monaco on today, Friday 27th September 2019 from 7pm to 8pm.
GYC Members and guests are welcome to attend the event.
HRH Charles de Bourbon des Deux Siciles is a world class sailor and whilst a resident of Monaco he is a big fan of the island of St Barts.
Charles is a member of the Board Committee of the Yacht Club de Monaco and the president of the Smeralda888 Class for the last 15 years. He has won 5 times the Class championship (2007,2008,2009,2011,2018) and he in the leading position of the 2019 Championship, going into its final races in Monaco 11-13 October 2019. Another notable sailing victory was the Wally Class at the 2012 voiles de St Tropez with his sailing yacht Genie.
