On the evening of Wednesday, 12 February 2025, guests gathered for a buffet dinner and live musical performance by Don Soley in support of the Société Nationale de Sauvetage en Mer (SNSM) – the voluntary sea rescue organization dedicated to saving lives at sea in Saint Barts.
The event was honored by the presence of distinguished guests from SNSM:
Mr. Bertrand Hudault – General Inspector for Overseas Stations at SNSM Headquarters
Mr. Julien Lestin – Deputy Captain of SNS 269 Capitaine Danet
Mrs. Elise Magras – Deputy President of SNS 269 Saint Barthelemy Station
Guests had the opportunity to learn more about SNSM’s vital mission through a presentation by Mrs. Elise Magras, who provided an update on the association’s recent activities. This was followed by an insightful address by Mr. Hudault, who highlighted the challenges, achievements, and unwavering dedication of the volunteers who form SNSM’s operational network.
The Stelios Philanthropic Foundation has already contributed €10,000 to SNSM via bank transfer ahead of the event, and attendees were also given the option to make additional contributions, with no obligation.
After the speeches and burgee exchange, attendees were treated to a lively performance by Don Soley.
